Hmm...it seems that whenever I post, I do so only because I have pictures to post up...  But the again, I just had to flaunt the pretty food I had today. (can't resist!)

So Ginger and I went to Rose House tea house today. It was a research excursion, all done with the intention of trying to find out if we could definitely have our Kuroshitsuji Photo-shoot there for the last day of NYAF. Poor girl, I kind feel bad about how I grilled her with questions, but it just had to be done. Unfortunately for us, I dont think we can. As the days draw closer to the con, our group keeps on getting bigger and bigger, which includes the cosplayers and the non-cosplayers who want to tag along. And the party/ conference room they offer only seat like 16 and thats pushing it...so yeah.

Then we have to spend about $180..but that wouldn't be a problem if we all chipped and and stuff, so that wasn't really a problem. But because even on Sunday's they get a lot of customers, again back to no incredibly big groups. But the most important part was that we can't use flash on our cameras. Some of us will be having the big professional SLR's so we need it. No to mention being in cosplay and going out like in groups of 5 or 6 to the main area which looks more victorian than the conference room and taking pictures. We'd definitely be a distraction, and they don't want that. So yeah I'm guessing this means we've got to start searching for something else...something that wont put a hole in our pockets on Sunday, when I know most, if not all of us will be broke as hell.

But now onto the food...I good the Waffle meal and Ginger got the Cake one. Sooo good and pretty as well! The Tea cups were so pretty, I was almost afraid of grabbing them. I thought I'd have a klutzy moment and drop it...that would have been horrible. But I'm definitely going back again...even if its just to try the variety of teas theyr serve...of if it means
almost an hour and a half trip by train when I go...gah! why does it have to be all the way in Queens?!

Ok scratch that. Before dieing, I should say that I finally finished that nice little one-shot synnesai and I had been chating...er...txting about xD. And seeing how it was almost lost in the black void that is my laptop and its imminent meltdown ((stupid motherboard about to fry)) I decided that it was one of the many fics that I'm writing that deserves to see the day of light.

And since I'm kinda proud of it...why not. Its still not the best, but since its like the third time I'm writing pre-existing characters with a long history that everyone knows...I'll admit its a bit nevrve wrecking. So a week later...((yes I know I'm a lazy bum)) I writing this post about Japan Day...which happened a WEEK ago. But in my defense...at least for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, work took over and coming home to write and link in a long entry just didn't seem appealing...xD

So Japan Day was Awesome, I got to meet up with some fellow Aarin forumers, and I must say, I love to hang out with them. they so crazy! ((in the good way of course)) and so Yaoi obsessed, that we all get along perfectly. See, Yaoi makes the world go round, and anyone who disagrees should be shot.

I also took my Yaoi Parasol with me, and it became a celebrity in its own right. People kept coming up t us and asking where we got it. I felt bad tellin them that I had gotten it from Last Years Anime Expo. They looked really sad. But then they sorta cheered up and settled for a picture instead. I bet if my Parasol had feelings, it be feeling pretty darn smug.

As for the free food we got, it was sooo worth it! Incredibly good, I knida wish i had gotten back on line to taste the gyoza. But I was to lazy, and being burnt to a crisp by the hot sun, was very appealing. And as far as the cospla
yers went, there were a few. a Sasuke, a sexy-no-jutsu Itachi...a couple of cat boys... some Naruto's and maybe Kuroshitsuji thrown in there for good measure ((of course there were a couple more...like KHR but I'm too lazy to go into them)). It was cute to see them gather. But we kind of left fairly quickly after I met up with the other half of out KHR group ((see post below))...since the yaoi was getting too freaky, and x-rated for our tastes..xD

 So finally...finally, I now have a source of income. Might not be much, but its a start right?...Right! And while I wont exactly go into the mechanics of what I do or where I work, because in my mind its not really important,..xD I'm just going to stress that I can now go ahead and begin with my costly new hobby.

COSPLAY!!

Yeah who would have thought I'd go in that direction...certainly not I. But it so much fun! the only down side is that since I have zero skills with sewing, its just going to be that much more money to invest. ((wonders if Photography would be less money than continuing with cosplay))

So yeah, I know its still quite a few months away, ((especially since I wont get the chance to go to AX this year like I did last -cries-)) but I'm happy to say that I've already managed to get a whole group of people together for a big photo shoot at New York Anime festival '09. Woohoo!! we'll be doing the orange Jumpsuit version of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

We have:
Tsuna --- Reborn --- Hbari--- Gokudera---Bianchi---15 Y.O. Lambo--- Lal Mirch --- Dr. Shamal --- Chrome --- T.Y.L. Mukuro --- I-Pin--- and whe are currently looking for our Yamamoto & Ryohei. Of course we would love to have the Varia and Coronello too.... but right now we can't be too picky, so we'll settle with waht we have...xD

I'd say thats pretty damn impressive, and hopefully all turns out well. Which means now I have to start by looking for the orange Jumpsuit and all the accesories that I need. Especially sitting down and planning how the hell I'm going to make the V.V.R. gloves...-bangs head on table- 

-shrugs-... hmm...just thinking of all I have to do makes my wallet want to cry...xD Maybe I shouldnt even discuss my want to cosplay Undertaker or Prince Soma from Kuroshitsuji that Sunday.... Cuz I know that one will leave me in the poor house.

 So I finally...finally!!!... went to my first ever con-- the  NY Anime Festival. yay!! I'm still trying to get off from the high of it, but lets face it, I'm still as excited about it as I was on Saturday. Maybe the high will wear off as my finals come speeding my way in the next few days.

So how was it?... well since it was my first I can't really complain, seeing as I have nothing to compare it to. But I must say, that it was really fun to see so many people cosplay. (I harassed so many people into posing for me...which they were all so happy to do) I might just post the pictures up in here... or provide a link to them... we'll see since I happened to forget my camera at home and right now I'm; at my Apartment for the rest of the week.

Lucky for me one of my friends and I went. Which was fun, I imagine it would have been an even better experience if a bigger group of us had gone, but since most of us are still away at school, that wasn't about to happen. Maybe next year (hoping that they actually have one again...>.>") We didn't cosplay or anything, 1)cuz we were lazy and 2) lets face it, it was a last minute thing we decided on and it being our first, we didn't really want to...

 I was disappointed in the fact that there were so few panels. At least panels where I wanted to see the voice actors. They had a signing for the One Piece actors, which I could have easily gotten from them, since the line wasn't long when we first got there, but I don't watch it or like it.  (sorry to all you One Piece fans out there...I'm not saying anything bad... it just doesn't appeal to me). On the bright side of it... towards the end, when we were gathering our stuff to leave (we went into a vacant panel room to just sit and rest for a while....we sat next to Sonny Strait *insert fangirl squeal* Okay.. so for those of you who don't know him by name, he's that guy who voice Hughes in FMA.

Yeah me being the loser that I am, only grinned like a fool and continued my conversation on the phone, because I couldn't bring myself to walk over to him and bother him for an autograph. Maybe another year... but for now... it was nice to know that i got to see one the many voice actors that I like in person and NOT on youtube.

*sigh*... maybe I should end it here, because I could really go on and on, this would get even longer...which I really don't want it to happen. Now that I know how fun it was... maybe I'll also be able to Attend Comic-Con in April this year. Anyone going?!!!... And with just enough luck (keeping my fingers crossed) I might just get my wish to go to AX this coming year and meet with Synn-chan (who said is cosplaying as Riku...gyaaa!!!)... that would be a dream come true......

Only time will tell.....

Ok so its been a while, hasn't it. Well this wont be a proper entry either way. I'm just using it to post a recent One_shot  (Dante x Vergil) that nearly killed me when I was typing it up. (The things I do for Shini..xDD)

Ah... see its been a while... didn't I say this would happen eventually >.< My interest would wander away and I would eventually stop posting. Then again I promised Hyper I'd post again... and today was.... i guess it could be categorized as weird...maybe? *<-----is still wondering about that*


So on with today's events. So like everyday for the past...week..no wait... 2 weeks now ^-^...(it seems more like a month) I've been getting up early to go to my summer classes. Dammit its friggin hard. I had forgotten how to wake up so early... Im so used to waking up at 10:30 to get to my first class which has always been at 11:30...*grumbles*   Anyway i digress.... so during my break...(I'm in the city for my classes...or for those of you not from around here... the city = Manhattan) I went to the Borders a block away. I decided I was going to treat myself with some manga.. since I've been good about going to class and managing to NOT doze off after the first 15 minutes..... i usually wait 30 minutes before i loose complete consciousness....xD

So I get there and am perusing the manga section when a girl out of the blue starts t talk to me (it all started with "oh I've read Death Note too") Ah! the joys of anime/manga bringing people together lol

Anyway... we get to talking about what we like (sadly she doesn't like yaoi..T_T...she's more into shoujo >.>) and out of the blue she gets up an asks me about advice on relationships.. I had a WTF moment there... wondering why she would even ask... a complete stranger for advice, but being the nice person that i am.. i decided to try my best and help her... Needless to say it was an unusual situation. Especially since i tried to hint to keep our voices down... for a semblance of privacy... she went off about her problems and didn't care who heard her (I was embarrassed for her..>.<;;) But yeah, who asks random people with that kind of help... she even made me question my career choices... maybe i should have been a psychologist... listen to people ramble on and on about their problems.... but then I'd probably just smack 'em and tell them to go cry on someone else's shoulder ..uh.... yeah definitely not a job for me.

So other than that weird?... i don't know how to categorize that event yet...haha ,.....this next one... is for all you Ugly Betty Fans...(if there are any who read this)
  I was on the train...(NY subway.. sucks!.. but thats a whole other story i won't get into) And I suddenly see this woman with this pin on her shirt saying "ask me for a great way to loose weight".. Naturally i smirk, thinking its oddly funny, and just happen to look down and see her holding a duffle bag with HERBALIFE written on it. So i look again, thinking its just my UB deprived mind... making me see things.. (cuz those who watch UB know that Hilda, Betty's sister worked for it.) and i could have sworn... it was just FICTIONAL.

Either I was wrong and it exists... or people are taking their new fixation with Ugly Betty to a new level...>.>;;



*looks at entry*.. yeaaaa.... thats a lot of work typing all that up... I'll go read some more Gravitation now....

So My family and I have partied for 2 straight days and today is the clean-up day. But first let me back track.
   
Friday was My sister's birthday. She turned 9 and becamejust a bit more annoying...xD I was nice enough to get her a Naruto hitai-ate and The High School Musical  DVD. Something that I'm seriously regreting right now. In the span of two days.. that girl has managed to watch it more than 10 times. ((dont ask me how she does it)) All I know is that I go to sleep hearing the stupid songs and wake up with them singing, which seems to be my new alarm clock.

So now onto the party. It started after she came home from school took a bit of an intermission Friday late into early saturday morning and continued until high hours of today in the morning. All I can say is that my family can hold their alcohol...hahaha.

Good times indeed~~~~

On a completely random note. Have you ever been addicted to one song from the first time you've heard it. It so happens that I recently saw the movie Inside Man. ((don't watch it, it was horrible... Im so disappointed Spike lee!!)) And the song for the ending credits was was this very catchy Indian song Chiayya Chiayya. ((if your curious like i was youtube it and see the video... its entertaining..^-^)) Thats all i've been listening to, even now writing this...haha

Finals are now officially over for me....3...2...1...O_O yay!!!

((not that i actually put much effort into studying for them...er...>.<;;;)) But yeah I am finally free and I will be putting all my efforts into finally getting through the entire KH2 game as well as Halo 2 and Gears of war. Yea, i have decided to be a couch potato (minus all the eating---) and get through some of these games if not all.

So wish me luck and I'll be lurkiing around... maybe i'll do more with this journal......

or maybe not...... ah i'll leave that up to my boredom to decide

Ah another day... so much closer to the end ((of the semester..what did you think i was talking about??...>.>)) So I do believe I might have a serious addiction to Aarin. Today I have yet to go on...((ok thats a lie, I just went on and just saw that cabbit sent me a message, other than that I swear... I quickly closed the window))  So why didnt I go on today, I decided to come to connecticut..out of the blue...yea I know...while I'm supposed to be studyin for finals..o_O;;... with my roomie ((gosh i luv her..<3)). So here I am, writing this entry from Connecticut, when I am supposed to be in the Bronx studying for finals... way to procrastinate..haha  But in my defence, we did get about 4-5 hours of studying done before we called it quits and went out to party...^-^

On that note.. I must say Connecticut is really a nice place and all, but I'm a city kid all the way. Once night settles in, its so friggin creepy. I kept looking out the window of the car, while we were speading and rounding those curbs, like there was no tomorrow ((incase you didnt guess...we were trying to gt back at a decent time...almost didnt mae it >.>;;) and I kept trying to see if I could catch a glimps of the Blair witch..lol Does anyone still remember that movie, I do. At the time, I actually thought it was scary...then I grew up and realized how much of a crappy movie it was...TT^TT. Good times!

So here I am now...sad because I didnt get to go on Aarin and talk to my seme or Hyper .....but I did have fun out today.....boy do I need to get my priorities straight...lol.

((just noticed she almost wrote a friggin book))...ok thats my que to shut up and go to sleep...or continue to eat my slice of Oreo Cheescake that I couldn't finish today at lunch...(we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch...^_^  <---- incredibly happy face)
